Frequently asked

Custom Home Building · the questions Aldo answers every week.

How long does a typical custom home build take?

Ten to eighteen months depending on square footage, permit turnaround, and finish complexity. The fixed-bid contract locks the committed completion window in writing.

Do you handle architectural design, or do I bring my own architect?

Either works. We regularly coordinate with client-chosen architects and can also refer trusted local firms who match Dellamano's fixed-bid discipline.

Are the trades subcontracted?

No. Because Aldo personally holds all five Florida state licenses — General, Roofing, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical — every core trade is self-performed under the same GC contract.

Do you build on my lot, or provide the land?

We build on your lot. Land acquisition and lot selection are outside our GC scope, but we'll walk any lot you're considering to flag site-work costs before you close.
